First Thanksgiving

I know it's been a while since I posted, but life for the Scarbroughs has been busy!  Wow!  Time has flown by so fast!  Taylor is 7 1/2 months old now, has TWO teeth, is pulling up, and just started CRAWLING!  Our lives have changed significantly!  She is also eating some table food snacks (bananas, pears, carrots, etc) which has been a fun experience (and a messy one).

A couple weekends ago, we went to the Ft. Worth Zoo withs some friends for Pancakes and Pumpkins.  We had great breakfast, rode the carousel and train, and saw the animals.  It was Tay Tay's first time at the zoo.  She loved seeing all the animals!

This was my first Thanksgiving to cook and host by myself!  My mom made half the food and I made the other half.  It was crazy enough making half of it; I can't imagine making it ALL on my own!  Wow!  Our food was super yummy and my turkey turned out great.  We enjoyed spending the day with Gram and Pops and then later in the day we picked up Uncle Derrick and Mimi at the airport.  What a wonderful day we had filled with all of our family!  We even face-timed with Papa in Baltimore!

Also over Thanksgiving weekend, we went to the Tech vs Baylor game at Cowboys Stadium.  Even though we lost, we enjoyed getting to cheer on the Red Raiders!  The week after Thanksgiving, Gram and Pops went to South Carolina, so Mimi and Papa came to stay with Taylor all week while we worked.  She enjoyed staying at home and playing with her grandparents from Lubbock!
