I just realized that I never blogged about our Lubbock trip! We stayed for a week and it STILL wasn't long enough! It was so fun. We got lots of Mimi and Papa time and had the opportunity to spend some quality "adult time" with our friends Andy, Robyn, Jamee, and Chad. We also got to see Uncle Derrick and Aunt Erica a lot too! We can't wait until Aunt Erica is out of school so that we can see her ALL the time!
We ate lots of yummy food, saw "Spiderman," and played a lot with Taylor. We visited two great-grandparents, lots of extended family, and had a SUPER fun time at Fourth on Broadway! Lubbock has the BEST 4th of July celebration! Taylor loved the parade. She wasn't too sure about the fireworks show her daddy put on at the end of the day, but by the end she enjoyed it, too!
Since we have come home from Lubbock, Taylor has had swimming lessons! She did awesome! She's such a little fish. Loves the water. We have also had several play dates, been to a few of Daddy's softball games, read a lot of books, and have played with just about every toy in the house. Summer time is fun!
